That's like saying considering the size of the install base Killzone 2 flopped. How many games out there don't even REACH a million. And you say that a multi-plat selling close to 7 million on ONE console isn't an amazing achievement? Halo 3 sold 9.1 million and it absolutely doesnt get better than that in this generation of consoles.

It's clear that when a game that did well in the last generation for Sony..everybody keeps looking at the this generations gaming consumers through PS2 eyes. It is 2009 and the truth is games that all of the major Multi-platform games have sold better on Microsoft.
It is also true that most games sales this generation come from outside of Japan. For example the top selling exclusive for PS3 is Metal Gear Solid 4. When the last update had it a 3.89 million. The breakdown was:

Halo 3 - Over 1 million people playe Halo 3 online in it's first 24 hours..In the US alone Halo 3 sold 3.3 Million copies in it's first 12 days alone..first two weeks sold 5.2 million world wide..currently at 9.1 million

Xbox 360 gamers have lead sales in every major Multi-platform release. At times over 1 to 2 million more. Of course the 360 will lose in Japan. But it will either be close or scew heavy in favor of the 360 in every other region. People forget that the E3 Xbox 360 Final Fantasy announcement was like an act from God. This title will fly off of the shelves, and believe me when I say 360 gamers will show up in a big way.

If Killzone 2 was everything that it was hyped to be, 360 owners would have come in droves. In fact, what we find is that Killzone 2 didn't do the record numbers that everyone expected from it's own install base.
Gamers are not idiots. The choice was simple..You have the premiere FPS console and the premiere online gaming experience with the Xbox 360. You can spend upwards of $550 to get the PS3 + Killzone 2...or you wisely looked to your own system and purchased Halo Wars, Lo...
